It’s true! I went on the radio yesterday! And it was such a great experience that I would have regret missing if I didn’t go. If you scroll down you will see a blog post about my Community Project. Well, yesterday, I went and talked about my community project. This proves that a community project is not something you just get over with, but it’s something that you must take into consideration in your life and keep contributing to your community.
The experience: When I first entered the radio station, I was nervous. I was scared that I would say something wrong or mess up. My heart was beating rapidly. This kept going on until… On Air! The “ON AIR” button turned on. And all of that nervousness stopped. At that point, I felt confident. I felt ready. Confidence replaced my fear. And because of this, I did a great job and I said all that I wanted to say. It was an amazing experience.

Ramadan is finally here! We should take this time as a chance to do all of the good and productive things we wanted to do! One day before Ramadan, I made a list of all the things I want to do in Ramadan. This is a time where I can really focus on the good and it's such an exciting and motivating time of the year.
Basically, what I did is everyday I made a schedule of what I'm gonna do for the day. Since I planned out a lot of things to do in Ramadan I distributed all of these things to do on different days so I don't overwhelm my self. That way, not only am I doing these things but I am also having fun. And time passes by so quickly when I do those things. So here is a list of things I decided to do this Ramadan
As you probably know, I am a person that always likes to try out something new and do something innovating, so I also plan to make a ramadan app in the future inshallah. Anything is possible. I challenge each and every one of your fasting this Ramadan to set up goals for your self that you must complete by the end of Ramadan. And at the end look back at these goals and see if you have completed them. Here are some apps that I recommend for Ramadan that will help keep you motivated:
Hi Guys, I’ve been meaning to write this article for a while. I’m basically going to write about models and plus size models and how they set this image to the society. I was watching a show earlier and I heard a skinny, beautiful model saying how she wants to inspire people. I think that it is something beautiful. But the thing that I want to know is in which way do you want to inspire? That’s something that really caught my attention and therefore I want to write about it today.
No judgement on models at all. I think they are beautiful and I do not blame them. But I am just talking about the society in general of how people set an image of how you must be thin and put make up and make diets to be beautiful. I’ve heard of many stories where, not only in modeling, but in many things where people were not accepted to be a part of a certain ‘squad’ or ‘sorority’ or ‘team’, because of their size or because of who they are. And because of that it leads to the having many insecurities. And because of these insecurities it can cause many things, such as extreme diets and eating disorders. This judgmental is what causes this, it makes a person feel like they aren’t following societies rules, like they’re doing something wrong. But then there are the plus size models, which to me are quite inspiring. Because they set an image that you can be beautiful no matter you’re size, or who you are. Therefore we should not do extreme dieting just to please our society. Because at the end if we try to impress the society, where’s that going to lead us to other than having disorders? We don’t need to impress guys or girls or a certain squad to be a part of it. At the end, we want to impress our selves, and that’s what matters. That’s what’s going to make you a happier person. At the end, having to put makeup and being skinny and doing surgeries… that does not define beauty. Ask yourself this: Would you rather go on extreme levels to be ‘skinny’ to impress someone? Or would you rather just be healthy and fit to impress your self? Beauty is being YOU! After all, even the actual word thinks that: BE YOU tiful Thank you. Project ECWI am working on a community project, which is a project that I will make that will benefit my community.
In my opinion, a community project isn’t just a project that I want to finish. It’s a project where I can use my interests to contribute to the community. I decided to use my personal interests and have a target market that I know I will enjoy working with to build up my community project. To me, a community project is something that stays with you and you shouldn’t quit on it until you accomplish what you started. My community project is teaching orphans English and Creative Writing, as these are topics that will stay with them until they grow up. In addition to this, English is a very common language between countries so if orphans want to work outside of where they live, they can know how to communicate. Creative Writing opens imaginations and may be something they want to do as a job in the future, and it opens many doors for them. I have once been to an orphanage with the school and I truly feel as if I know how to interact with them and feel like I have a connection and a way of interacting, so I can use this as an advantage to interact with them in the future and teach them. Out of all other less privileged people such as public schools and elder’s home, I feel as if orphans are the least privileged as they lost a huge part of their life, so I wan’t to teach them so that in the future I can help them reach what they deserve. They don’t have parents, so they deserve a good future. I am telling you about this as a way to inspire you on doing such an influential contribution to your community. Please help support me in my project by following @project_ecw on instagram. Thank you!!! Our World is...Our world is made up of generations, and within each generation comes two sides, two point of views: The good side, and the bad one.
It all started with 2 human beings, and from that point onwards there came more and more human beings, each one more unique than the other one. There came more human beings; there came the bad, the good, the inspiring, the murdering, and from there also came different races, different religions, different genders. At that point discrimination came a long, then hatred, then greed, then war, then sadness. But hope also came along, then happiness, then patience, then love. All of this has built up to make our generation today. In my point of view, this generation, the world that I live in now, has a good side, and a bad one. The good side is that we are able to develop, we are able to change, we are able to create, we are able to choose our paths. Many of whom chose to be either good or bad. And when a person chooses to be a bad person, that is what makes the bad side. We are able to be selfish, we are able to be greedy, we are able to create war, we are able to create hatred, we are able to bully, to discriminate. And because we are able to have this, we think we should do it, we choose to do it, we take it for granted. Our lives are made up of a box, and through every generation the box opens to unleash more... either good or bad.... Hey guys! So I haven't posted in a long time but I decided to tell you guys about my community project which we are doing in school. A community project is a project made where you can benefit your community and contribute to it. You can use surveys, interviews, observations, and media as a starter of your project and everything must be recorded in this journal called a Process Journal. So I will be posting my process journals here if you ever wanna have a look at it, and if you are willing to do something that will benefit your community. For me, a community project isn't just a project that I want to get over with, it's a project that allows you to interact with the community that you might not be adapted to, and get a chance to help it. And although people who are reading this might not be a part of my school, it does not mean you don't get a chance to make your own community project, and not just for grades, but for the people's benefits. So if you, the reader, would like to start your own community project in which you can benefit your community, then feel free to. And record everything in a process Journal. It will make me very glad to see at least one person try it out, and if you do, make sure to show me all of your work by tagging me on instagram @dania_badran. For my community project, I am going to be teaching orphans and illigitemate children english and creative writing, because these children are the future and by teaching them this they can have better opportunities when they grow up. What would be your project if you did one? Here is my first process Journal, have a look at it, I hope I inspire you (Ps, you can make as much process Journals as you want, I'll keep you updated with my other process Journals once I do them)
20/6/2016. The last day of summer for me!! It's quite sad to leave such an amazing time the year. Although it has come to end, I have decided to move on and motivate myself for the upcoming year. Hear are some DIYS that I have tried that you should too to get you more into the school spirit. 1) Cutest note book dividers. No need for explaining:: You basically get some cool pictures and then you add a speech bubble which has the subject written on it. The speech bubble maker website: http://wigflip.com/ds/ Big thanks to Hayley Williams for the idea: https://www.youtube.com/user/hayleywi11iams Here are the templates that I have used: 2) Add your name to your laptop! 3) Add emojis on your keyboard for motivation! Thank you for reading this article! I really hope it helped you, and I do hope you try out these DIYS! If you do make sure to tag me on my instagram @dania_badran . I would love to see you try them!
Comment down below what you want to see from me next! Good Luck in school!! -READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO LEARN A LIFE LESSON!!!
-WHAT YOURE ABOUT TO READ IS BASICALLY A GUIDE TO HAVING A BETTER LIFE IN THE FUTURE!! Hey Guys!! So today I was thinking, and I was just thinking about the future and what Im going to do as my job and my career. It just hit me to talk about the thing that Im going to tell you now. The thing I want to say is, Don't let anyone or anything stop you from what you're doing, it's your life and you get to choose what you want to do with it. As you can see I have not let anyone come and stop me from the things I love to do: Youtube, Blogging, Writing Stories, Planning Inventions that I want to invent when I grow up, Drawing, Photography. People have tried to stop me, but I haven't stopped. For an example, A couple of months ago a couple of people left some hate comments as a gang, thinking that they can stop me. I honestly felt like a bad person and wanted to stop, they were powerful, but I was more powerful. If I wasn't more powerful then them I would have probably shut down my blog, but Im here today doing something I love and continuing it no matter what. I did have something else to talk about that is related to the previous topic. One thing that can stop you from something is Jealousy. What I mean by this is that you can get jealous from someone who you think is perfect, and you feel like you can't beat him/her or be better. It makes you want to stop trying, this is called quiting, or giving up, and that is exactly what one has to do to become a loser. Make that person a competition, and I don't mean this in a bad way.I mean, just make this person your goal, and you want to reach this and even better, this is just a way to set some high expectations for yourself. But what ever you do, don't try to make that persons life miserable if you're jealous from him/her, don't try to make him/her a bad person. Keep him/her as he/she is, and if she keeps getting better and better at something, keep making it your goal. You probably think Im not making any sense, but what I'm trying to say is that there are many ways to have goals and expectations, and one of them is the person your jealous of because he/she is so "perfect" and good at everything, but don't let that person, or anyone, stop you from doing what you love and becoming a better person. Thank you! Tell me if this helped you in the comments below!! Hey guys!! So this year I've been to USA & Canada! Through out my wonderful journey I have taken many beautiful pictures and captured every moment. North America is such a naturally beautiful place, and it inspired me to take pictures. I also decided to edit some pictures that I took in Mont Tremblant, Canada and they turned out really cool. So without much further ado, here are the pictures that I took Hey guys, so I am sorry I haven't been posting lately, I was actually on a three week vacation in USA & Canada. It was such an amazing experience and I had so much fun. If you want to see what I did there, make sure to watch my upcoming video which will be out hopefully next week. Once its out I'll put the URL on this page. Anyways, theres something about it that inspired me to care about my future more, made me want to work more, and organize my life more, I guess it my happy place, and a hint that one day I should probably live there for my job and career. My happy place is the place where I can get inspired and become more happy because of it, its the place where I can pursue my dreams. I have honestly wanted to become so many things when Im older after my trip to USA & Canada. If you have a mutual feeling to a place you've went to, then you should be proud to call it your happy place.
Guys, I have a question for you: Do you get inspired by my articles? Do you think they're too long? Too boring? Fun to read? Let me know all your thoughts on my articles in the comment section below. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Hope it helped |
